n11は、2026年7月24日に配信を開始したiOS向けアプリ「ウィジェット野球｜ホーム画面で育てるプロ野球選手」が、8月中旬に累計ダウンロード数500件を突破したことをお知らせします。配信開始から約3週間での達成となりました。
「ウィジェット野球」は、アプリを開いていない時間もiPhoneのホーム画面ウィジェットが選手を見守り続ける、リアルタイム進行の野球選手育成シミュレーションです。現実の1日が1シーズン（143試合）に対応し、毎日6:00〜21:00に試合が自動で進みます。
100ダウンロードから約2週間で500ダウンロードへ
配信から1週間後の7月31日に累計100ダウンロードを突破して以降も、公式サイトやSNS、YouTubeでの紹介を通じて新たなユーザーに届き、8月中旬には累計500ダウンロードを超えました。最初の節目から約2週間で、ダウンロード数は5倍になりました。
通勤や休憩中にホーム画面を見るだけで、今日の打席結果、1軍昇格、タイトル争い、移籍などを追える、ウィジェットならではの遊び方を多くの方に体験いただいています。
「ウィジェット野球」の特長
- アプリを閉じても試合は進む／毎日6:00〜21:00にシーズンが自動進行し、ホーム画面ウィジェットへ最新の成績や出来事を届けます。
- 18歳の新人から引退の日まで／ドラフト、昇格、全盛期、怪我、移籍、FA、衰え、引退まで、ひとりの選手の一生が記録に残ります。
- 毎回異なる野球人生／能力の伸び方、怪我、起用、移籍の巡り合わせがプレイごとに変わります。
- 架空12球団のプロ野球界／順位表、ライバル選手、タイトル争い、MVPやベストナインなど、選手を取り巻く世界も毎日動きます。
現在のバージョンと今後について
本発表日時点でApp Storeに公開しているのはバージョン1.x（最新バージョン1.2）です。バージョン2.0は現在開発中で、まだ公開していません。
バージョン2.0では、小学1年生から高校3年生までを育てるアマチュア編、海外FAから始まるメジャーリーグ編、2選手の同時育成など、大型の機能追加を予定しています。公開時期は、準備が整い次第、公式サイトでお知らせします。

iOS App “Widget Baseball” Surpasses 500 Downloads About Three Weeks After Launch
Downloads grew fivefold in roughly two weeks after the first 100-download milestone

n11 announced that Widget Baseball — Raise a Pro Baseball Player on Your Home Screen, an iOS app released on July 24, 2026, surpassed 500 total downloads in mid-August, about three weeks after launch.
Widget Baseball is a real-time player-development simulation in which an iPhone Home Screen widget follows a player's career even while the app is closed. One real-world day represents a full 143-game season, with games progressing automatically from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
From 100 to 500 Downloads in About Two Weeks
After passing 100 total downloads on July 31, one week after launch, Widget Baseball continued to reach new players through its official website, social media, and YouTube videos. By mid-August, downloads had grown fivefold to more than 500.
Players can follow each day's plate appearances, promotions, award races, and transfers simply by glancing at their Home Screen during a commute or break.
Key Features
- Games continue while the app is closed: Seasons progress automatically from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the latest results and events delivered to the Home Screen widget.
- From an 18-year-old rookie to retirement: Draft day, promotions, a player's prime, injuries, transfers, free agency, decline, and retirement all become part of one lasting career record.
- A different career every time: Development, injuries, playing time, and transfer opportunities vary with every playthrough.
- A fictional 12-team league: Standings, rivals, award races, MVPs, and Best Nine selections keep the baseball world moving every day.
Current Version and What's Next
As of this announcement, the publicly available App Store release is version 1.x, with version 1.2 as the latest version. Version 2.0 is still in development and has not yet been released.
Version 2.0 is planned to add an amateur career from first grade through high school, a Major League career following overseas free agency, and simultaneous development of two players. Release timing will be announced on the official website when preparations are complete.
